Microsoft Pledges Funding to Combat Trafficking in Thailand

Microsoft pledges over US$240,000 for partnership with Thailand NGOs and Government Entities to Combat Human Trafficking.

Microsoft issued a rallying call for public and private sectors to come together to take on the challenges posed by human trafficking. The company also announced an Unlimited Potential grant valued at more than $240,000 USD (8.8 million baht) to combat the trafficking of women and children in Thailand. In cooperation with The Mirror Foundation, Microsoft’s grant will provide IT skills training to women and children in northern Thailand, through Community Technology Learning Centers (CTLCs) located in high-risk trafficking areas.
