Program Officer Position Opening at IOFA - NY

Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance in the field of anti-trafficking, girls' leadership development, HIV/AIDS prevention and micro-credit programs to partner organizations.
- Conduct extensive specialized anti-trafficking trainings for NGOs; local, state, and federal law enforcement in the US and national law enforcement abroad; hotline workers; legal advocates; government officials and others.
- Management and fulfillment of current projects including partner relations, fulfilling donor financial and programmatic reporting requirements, and all project related travel.
- Development of new projects including grant writing, developing relationships with prospective partners, maintaining and developing donor relations, and budgeting.
- Representing IOFA or the Executive Director at meetings, trainings, conferences and other events as needed.
- Supervision of interns and graduate student Capstone (NYU) or EPD workshop (SIPA) teams.
Requirements
- Must have thorough knowledge of, and experience with, issue of human trafficking; and training experience.
- 30% of time traveling within U.S. and to project countries abroad.
- Experience working with youth in the US and in the developing world preferred.
- Experience living and working overseas preferred.
