AFESIP Drafts Anti-CSEC Law for Cambodia

The nongovernmental organization - Acting for Women in Distressing Situations (AFESIP), - drafted a version of a Law on the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children specifically created for the Kingdom of Cambodia. Feasibility of implementation and enforcement without deviating from the necessary protections for children was a major goal in its drafting.

The British Embassy to Cambodia has supported this effort.

AFESIP requests comments, suggestions, feedback, queries and criticism of this instrument. A period of one month from 7 October 2004 will be waited before making further amendments to this instrument. Please contact:
