New Human Trafficking Resource Center

February 2005

UN Inter-Agency Project on Human Trafficking in the Greater Mekong Sub-region (UNIAP) has initiated a joint project to create a human trafficking resource center within an existing library - the Pridi Banomyong Library, Thammasat University. This center will be the first library in Thailand that has specific and comprehensive materials on issues related to human trafficking. It will help UNIAP and the anti-trafficking networks facilitate and coordinate information sharing, as well as provide access to the wider public.

Thai and English language materials have been collected. The formal opening of the Human Trafficking Resource Center will take place at the end of February 2005.
