Asian and Pacific Islander (API) women compose the largest segment of persons trafficked into the United States. This fact alone makes it crucial that Asian and Pacific Islander activists are included in long-term strategies that address the issue of human trafficking. This report seeks to elevate the voices of API women as an important force in shaping an inclusive, national dialogue on human trafficking that embraces a human rights framework.
