The sexual, commercial exploitation of girls, boys and youths, is a social phenomenon that increases by the day in Guatemala, especially through prostitution and the trafficking of minors for sexual purposes. There is no quantitative analysis on these problems, because of its characteristics of secrecy and illegality; nevertheless, the information provided by health centers and government officials, enable to infer that we are facing a constantly increasing phenomenon.
