Activities

The Ministry of Tourism collaborates with NGOs to combat sex tourism. The Ministry of Tourism works with NGOs to produce workshops and pamphlets to combat trafficking dangers associated with sex tourism.

The Ministry of Tourism (MoT) has created a Bureau of Child Safe Tourism with participation of the NGO Child Assistance for Mobilization and Participation (CAMP). The organization was created by and is headed by children. Children from the organization are involved with many activities concerning the fight against child sex tourism. They participate in planning and training of staff of MoT, and training children selling cakes and souvenirs nears resorts.

The Ministry of Tourism, with support of UNIAP and the British Embassy in Phnom Penh, has produced 13,000 pamphlets warning against the dangers associated with child sex tourism and has conducted nine sessions of training for tourism police, tour operators, tourism associations, tourism travel groups, individual tourism facilities.
