Activities

The Commission´s main responsibilities are to:

  • promote and protect human rights
  • monitor the rights as set out in the Constitution and international treaties to which Mongolia is a party

The Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs, in coordination with the National Human Rights Commission, is currently reviewing the anti-trafficking provisions of the criminal code in an effort to strengthen the law and make it easier to prosecute traffickers.
