Named after the North Star that guided slaves towards freedom along the Underground Railroad, Polaris Project is a multicultural grassroots organization combating human trafficking and modern day slavery in the United States and Japan.
Polaris Project takes a comprehensive bottom-up/top-down approach that is comprised of four main strategies: direct intervention, survivor support, policy advocacy, and movement-building.
