Activities

Formally established in June 2000, MRSC leads efforts to address issues of mobility and occupational and reproductive health in Vietnam, with a specific focus on HIV/AIDS prevention.

Objectives:

  • Empower migrant workers and mobile people with the information necessary to ensure that their rights are respected.
  • Provide information about the vulnerabilities and health status of migrant workers to employers, policy-makers, and advocacy groups.
  • Use this information to plan and implement effective interventions and/or advocacy programs.
  • Support labor laws that protect migrant workers without restricting them in their pursuits.

Publications:

"Mobility & Vulnerability:  An Explorative Study among Female Sex Workers in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam".
