Activities

The director of MOLISA is central to Vietnam's efforts to formulate and implement a National Plan of Action to Combat Trafficking in Persons.

MOLISA was designated by the Prime Minister as the lead ministry on this subject, and the director's office was made the focal point for all ministry anti-trafficking activities. The Social Evils Department of MOLISA and the Criminal Police Department of the MPS are the main government agencies involved in efforts to combat trafficking, in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice, the Women's Union, and the Border Guards.
