Activities

Ruen Rom Yen (Harbor House) is an NGO providing shelter and community education programs, located in Mae Sai, Chiang Rai Province, Thailand. It provides housing, counseling, food, educational support and vocational training for 25 children (girls and boys) between the ages of 4-18, who have been rescued from (or are at risk of entering) the sex trade. They also work closely with the local school system and 9 hill-tribe communities to educate people about child rearing and welfare, children's rights, and the risks of child trafficking. They work to empower the hill-tribes people by helping them become actively involved in combating trafficking.

Ruen Rom Yen is always happy to have volunteers who can contribute their skills to the range of activities they offer their children.
