Activities

The National Commission for Mothers and Children (NCMC) oversees child-related affairs on education, well-being and protection.  The NCMC was established in March 1992 to prepare and oversee the implementation of the Lao PDR Program of Action for children.

The National Commission for Mothers and Children and UNICEF continues an active program of support for victims of trafficking.
