Activities

ECPAT Japan Kansai has been a national counterpart for the implementation of an UN ESCAP project titled "Elimination of Sexual Abuse and Sexual Exploitation of Children and Youth in Asia and the Pacific". This project includes a public awareness raising campaign, and capacity building for personnel providing care to children. ECPAT Japan Kansai is responsible for publicizing the UN ESCAP Project, building capacity of those who work with sexually abused children, collecting information about child sexual abuse and good practices in terms of prevention and treatment, and strengthening the network against child sexual abuse.
