Recently, the Indonesia National Police (INP), in cooperation with the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Diplomatic Security, participated in a series of raids and investigations into counterfeit visas and immigration documents being manufactured in the busy port city of Surabaya, Indonesia, for illegal entry into the United States. The counterfeit documents may have been manufactured with the intent to traffick women and children into the U.S.

The system allows police agencies internationally to share and analyze information for tracking online child predators. Indonesia is now the first country in Asia, and second in the world after Canada, to roll out the Child Exploitation Tracking System (CETS). CETS was developed by the Canadian Police and Microsoft to help law enforcement battle child exploitation online.
