On 9-10 September 2004, the Mekong Children’s Forum of the International Labour Organization sponsored the Cambodian Children’s Forum on Human Trafficking. Fifty-two children under the age of 18 of whom the majority had first hand experience with human trafficking participated in this two day conference. Five children were chosen by their peers to attend the upcoming Mekong Children’s Forum on Human Trafficking to be held on 11-17 October 2004. The Children’s Forum is being co-organized by the ILO Mekong Sub-regional Project to Combat Trafficking in Children and Women and Save the Children UK.
