Increased public awareness is critical. The purpose of this symposium is to provide a forum to discuss a wide variety of issues including prevention and prosecution of human trafficking as well as other critically related issues such as maritime and immigration law.
This symposium will feature leaders from the international development, legal, governmental, and academic communities. Further, the organizers will arrange with the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law and the World Affairs Forum at Tulane's International Journal to produce symposium editions.
