On Saturday, April 24, 2004, 4:00 – 7:00pm, the Human Trafficking and Modern-Day Slavery Symposium is being held at 38 Cameron.

This event is being sponsored by the American Anti-Slavery Group and the Boston Coalition Against Trafficking and Slavery, with the support from Free the Slaves in Washington, DC and from Polaris Project.

The speakers include:
Shalini Nataraj, Associate Director of the Reebok Human Rights Awards Program and coordinator of the Boston Coalition Against Trafficking and Slavery;
Laura M. Barret, COO of the American Anti-Slavery Group;
Jennifer Weedon, Fulbright Fellow, Ukraine, 2002-2003
