Philippine Conference Against Trafficking of Children and Women In Commercial Sexual Exploitation

The Karl Kübel Stiftung für Kind und Familie, Bensheim, Germany (KKS), and its partner organization, Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation - Integrated Development Center (JPIC-IDC), in cooperation with four other organizations based in Cebu City are organizing the Philippine Conference Against Trafficking of Children and Women in Commercial Sexual Exploitation. Approximately 80 delegates coming from different relevant sectors in the Philippines as well as delegates from other foreign countries will attend this conference.
The objectives of the conference include the in-depth analysis of the phenomenon of trafficking for sexual exploitation, sharing of best practices as conducted by NGOs, GOs, the identification of new strategies and the formulation of specific actions plans to be taken up by the Philippine partners in their respective provinces within the next five years.
International participants will be given the opportunity to participate in an exposure programme which will be conducted prior to the conference on 8-9 February 2005.
The conference fees are Pesos 10,000 (EUR 150) to be paid directly at the conference.
