UNAIDS recognises Thailand's effective and far reaching policies in addressing HIV and AIDS issues and urges continued action to ensure it's role in it's domestic response and leadership in providing comprehensive HIV and AIDS treatment and care.

The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) is"uniting for HIV prevention" with civil society, treatment activists, the private sector and governments to call for the global community to mobilize an alliance for HIV prevention.   This new campaign was launched at the 2006 Toronto AIDS conference, if you would like more information on this and prevention policies please let us know.
