Event Details

The primary objective of the COMMIT Clarity Workshop was to provide the COMMIT Task Force Members, government policy makers and NGO partners with insights to COMMIT process; the significance of the process to Thailand and for the GMS; its implication for rational and regional policies; and to answer any questions that they may have regarding the implementation of the COMMIT SPA.  The aim is to ensure that key concerned ministries and organizations are aware of the above significance and have mutual understanding of their respective roles to work together in a concerted manner toward the goal of combating human trafficking in the Greater Mekong Sub-region.

Opening speech by Mr. Wanlop Phloytabtim, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security.
