The daylong symposium will bring together advocates and policy experts from the U.S. and Asia to address the global implications of the entrenched problem of sex and labor trafficking in Asia. The symposium seeks to explore the policy options, the urgent political action and the critical partnerships that need to be forged to combat human trafficking. The participants will examine the innovative local and global actions as well as assess emerging international legislation. Finally, the panelists will suggest the range of leadership opportunities for the United States to shape international public opinion towards a sustainable end to trafficking.
