Anti-Trafficking Toolkit (Vital Voices)

Vital Voices developed an Anti-Trafficking Awareness Toolkit to help raise awareness about human trafficking in the United States. The Toolkit was designed for distribution primarily to professionals, such as local law enforcement, health care workers, social service providers, or faith-based organizations, who may encounter trafficking victims in the course of their work, and may be able to help them. It contains several sections:

• an informational flier that defines trafficking, how to recognize a trafficking victim, and information on how to report trafficking crimes;
• a summary of the U.S. Anti-Trafficking Law, The Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act of 2000, which has important provisions for helping victims receive protection and assistance, and for prosecuting criminal traffickers;
• and a trafficking victim flier (available in several languages) to inform victims of their rights under the U.S. law. a summary of the U.S. anti-trafficking law, the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act of 2000;
• and the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2003
